I love how many studies we need to justify eating chocolate. I mean, this study involved the Department of Medicine at the University of California, and was funded by the National Institute of Health. This blows my mind. The best part is that they have no idea why this is the case: regular chocolate eaters on average consumed more calories and did not exercise more than those who didn’t consume chocolate regularly. My hypothesis is that regular chocolate eaters are happier and happiness burns a lot of calories. Check out the summary of the study results further in Science Daily.
